Movie Story "Nella primavera del 1937, mentre il dirigibile Hindenburg, orgoglio della Germania nazista, sta per affrontare la sua seconda trasvolata oceanica, ai dirigenti della Zeppelin giunge la lettera di una veggente, che preannuncia, per l'Hindenburg, una catastrofe. Contrario ad annullarne il volo, Goebbels ordina al colonnello Franz Ritter, di imbarcarsi egli pure sul dirigibile per scoprire se a bordo si nasconda un attentatore. Caduti via via i sospetti, Ritter individua finalmente in un membro del personale di bordo, il giovane antinazista Karl Berth, l'uomo deciso a distruggere l'Hindenburg con una bomba a tempo, destinata a scoppiare dopo lo sbarco dei passeggeri, all'aeroporto statunitense di Lakehurst. Un contrattempo, però, ritarda l'atterraggio dell'Hindenburg e vani risultano gli sforzi di Ritter di disinnescare la bomba. Oltre al coraggioso colonnello, nell’esplosione muoiono altre 34 persone. L'inchiesta delle autorità naziste imputerà tuttavia il disastro a cause sconosciute.".
